Hi all, in August we are off to Wells-next-the sea ( Norfolk ) go every year and love it. For the first time in September we are going to White House Beach site at Kessingland, just south of Lowestoft Suffolk any feedback on this one welcome.
Thanks. Smile

If it's the one I think it is (Caravan Club site?) it's on the left on the way to the big Park Resorts Kessingland Beach site.  Not stayed there myself, but stayed at Kessingland Beach a few times (my parents live just around the corner).

The one I'm thinking of is on the left hand side of Beach Road, and always appears well kept and tidy. Pitches are level (some look like gravel) and there's a toilet Block central.  It's raised up a bit, and you have great views over the beach to the sea.  Looks a bit basic (i.e nothing for the kids to do) but ideal for a couple.  There's a pub up the top of the lane about 5 mins walk, which serves great food (last time I was up there it'd just burnt down but it's all sorted now).  Beach is huge and shingly, and if you turn right (when facing the sea) and keep walking you get to a nature reserve.  Keep an eye open for seals basking on the beach.

Lowestoft is literally 5 minutes drive, with the sandy beach etc.  There's a Chinese takeaway at the top end of Kessingland (near the wildlife park) and a Morrisons not far away for all your bread, milk etc.

I'd stay there, and there's plenty of reviews CLICKY HERE which all seem to be fairly positive.

HTH and enjoy the trip.

Regards
Dave
