|
|
Going by the majority votes cast, the Mega-Meet 2007 will be held on the weekend of: 10-12th August 2007.
We have now chosen, after a long hard decision process, the Site for the Mega Meet 2007. Due to the week, we had originally planned (Whitsun), it was very hard to find places that would accept a rally with electric Hook-up, with such 'short notice'
Please bear in mind, this has been a long drawn out process for ourselves, and we know that we can't please everyone!
The place selected is:
*Banham Zoo in Norfolk*
*Map - How to get to Banham Zoo*
*Situated HERE*
*Reviews Here*
We have reserved 35 places (all with electric hook-up and for tents too)
The cost .......
£10/Night with Electric Hook-up ..... 'Cheap as chips' considering it's in the school Hols.
The pitches are available for all of the following week (at the same price of £10/night), this can be arranged prior to your stay or at the time of the meet.
(There are several Hard-Standing Pitches, these will be reserved for the people who are stopping longer than the initial weekend, so please advise, if this is necessary.)
If you wish to arrive before the Friday of the meet, please let me know, and I will arrange this for you.
I will be requiring non-refundable deposit of £15 to reserve your pitch.
We have ONLY 8 pitches left .... please reserve your pitch NOW to avoid disappointment.
Please make your cheque payable to:
'The Pajero Owners Club'
and send it to:
'Pajero Owners Club UK
FREEPOST SWB20806
CHRISTCHURCH
DORSET
BH23 8ZZ'
Can you please send, either by recorded post or to the freepost address at your own risk .... but .... by putting a stamp on the envelope will help cut club costs
*PLEASE PM me when you make a payment so we can keep 'on-top' of the money movements*
On the back of the cheque, please clearly state the 'club member name' AND the 'event' it's for!!
I am also willing to accept on-line bank transfers. PM for details if required.
----------------------------------------------------
Myself and Redders have searched through the hotels .... the best deal we could come up with is:
Travelodge
A standard night is £50, so I have searched through the Supersaver (£15/night) and Saver (£26/night) deals.
For Example: - Subject to Travelodge change!
Fri 10th & Sat 11th August 2007
Supersaver:
Ipswich Stowmarket 16.6 miles from Banham
£15 on Friday 10th but £50 on Saturday 11th
or:
Saver:
Norwich Central 16.1 miles from Banham
£26/Night for both Nights
Remember this is for a family room too.
------------------------------------------------
We are compiling a list of the "activities" and places to go/things to do at this years megameet here. Things will be added as I/we find them.
(Courtesy of Redders)
