Just thought I'd mention that Adrian Flux have done me a great quote.
Fully Comp, I'm 30, female, full no claims, 93 Paj 2.8TD SWB, 8000 miles a year, London post code, parked on street..........
£451.00 !!!!
I had to get a Cat 2 immo fitted though (but got the dealer to throw that in!!)

Adrian flux were the cheapest for me by a longshot.
After ringing 20 odd companies, all supplying quotes between £880 and £1200 (funny how many were within £20 of each other) A F came in with £625
They would have to give me a lot of hassle not to be worth the £255 saving. |

Adrian Flux will end up getting both the Paj and the new 4x4 on Thursday this week
94 Paj 2.8td Auto
98 Wrangler 4.0 Man with 2.5" Lift and Quick Disconnects.
Both for less than £1k
If I had paid the £30 membership to jeepclub, I'd get a further (Small) discount (Probably about £30 actually) They are quite keen on Club insurance it seems. Rumour has it that you are covered 3rd party off road too AND you get a courtesy car. but I'll try to confirm once I have all the Paperwork.
They are raved about on the jeepclub web site which is why I rang them to quote against AON. Prices were similar, but AON said no courtesy car due to it being an import.
[Edit] They screwed up the 4x4 insurance (Seemed to cheep) and then cancelled the policy after never sending out the original paperwork. Promised a refund of less than half the policy but this has not been credited to my account either. I have informed them in writing that it is costing them £10 a day to keep my money and they have confirmed reciept of the letter. I'll contact a lawyer in a couple of months to recover somewhere nearer a grand.
Completely F'ing useless. [/edit] |
