Hi guys    does the rad expansion tank level go up a bit when engines warm and return back into radiator when cold .on 2002 L200 cheers

Yes - it does on all vehicles with an expansion (header) tank.

Yes, it should, provided the cap seals are both in place and in good order.
If not, then it won't behave properly and the level in the header tank may keep rising, or not rise at all, as coolant escapes from the rad cap
