Beings as I got photobucket now.
Just to show you why a l200 upto 2006, (not sure if newer ones use this turbo) screeches or overboosts.
the disc that turns all the flaps gets stuck, its not the disc its a flap that stops disc turning.
you can by all means get a pair of mole grips and pull and push the over boost actuator arm.
this in most cases frees the offending flap.
symptons when stuck, you get all codes for overboosting.
you get a screeching noise, a flap is partly open not allowing all flaps to go home.
take look here.

Forgot to mention, if its realy bad, you can strip down turbo and free it up.
if your not confident ask a garage if they ever done this to vw or audi/seat.
most people just buy a new turbo as think turbos faulty as overboosting.
but if you find a guy you save alot of johnny cash.
its really not that hard to strip, if you can remove it id say you can do this job, just becareful when you open it, the spacer on arm falls off, as in my pic its not there.
just opened up this blown turbo to show you whats inside you get a better understanding of it.
