Help !

Put new belts/tensioners on my l200 and when i come to put the crank position sensor on it does not line up with its plate (spinny thing that goes on crank ) try as i might turning it round etc etc it just doesnt mate up.

Am i missing something basic ?

It seems as though my crank cogs are not going back far enough or there is a mounting plate for the CPS that i am missing ??

A pic of one in situ would be great.

PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE....

OK come to the conclusion that the timing cogs are on correct and the sensor target plate is correct but there must be something amiss with the mounting of the sensor ??

Gasket type mount ???
