Just having a wee look at sites for the Summer
Haven in Yorkshire(Primrose Valley) want over £350 for a touring pitch+awning for 7 nights
Is this normal?
I could damn near hire a static for that |

I don't own a tin tent, so don't know what is expensive/cheap....... but I guess that the facilities and entertainment that are available at different sites will govern the prices that are charged....... and of course the area where the camp site is.
Someone is bound to pop in and tell you with experience about these things........... but, I guess you will get what you pay for in these things. |

I think you are paying for all of the facilities on the camp. Pool etc...
Then they squeeze more out of you for food and drink, which you inevitably will buy
We usually get up that way for about £145 for seven nights |

You in any of the clubs, ie camping and caravanning club, 365 touring and tenting, touring and tenting, they all do holiday sites at good prices, ie the ccc do
a month (aug) for £250ish at Ingoldmels, check them out. |

jim try the crows nest it next doors to the heaven site its 22 pounds NIGHTS PUB ON SITE BANDS ON EVERY NITS I GO EVERY YEAR LOVE IT MATE soz about caps button stick e |

Park resorts often have specials for the week, we got 7 days last easter for £47.
this is a good club to join, http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/
Its free & loads of helpful advice. Plus does great reviews of sites.
