Had a crackin time last night in the beer tent and rolled out about 2ish I think!
Went laning and blew the sidewall out of my rear tyre, swapped me tyres over and went home.....
Well *beep* off now, was lookin forward to another night of banter.....
Thanks to Jase and Al for organising this and the food on Friday night was bostin..... |

Hi Guys Its Linda (Ian Mrs)
Just wanted to say a BIG THANKS to everyone for their help yesterday. It was really nice to meet everyone, even though I didnt get a chance to say hello to some members but those I did have the opportunity to meet it was a pleasure.
I never really took an interest in Pajeros before yesterday but I must admit after meeting up and the greenlaning I was amazed and throughly enjoyed every minute.
Thank you to Jas who made us feel welcome and showed us the ropes and for Richy and Craig and Jo for their help fixing the heather tank pipe (think thats what its called).
Really looking forward to seeing everyone in May and hopefully we will stay longer than we did yesterday as I am gonna try and book a caravan over the bank holiday weekend.
When Ian finished work he will hopefully post any pics and vids we have from yesterday!!
Take Care everyone Cya soon Linda X |

The PITP 5 was a great success! 18 Pajeros in total gathered up at the caravan park on a wet Saturday morning. Three separate groups left for a great day of laning based on their preparation: road tyres vs MTs. We were day trippers but had great fun, below are a few snaps of the day, as I am sure other will add loads more! Our group had 5 Pajeros led by Al in his 3.5 Mk2, followed by a Paris-Dakar special edition Mk2 2.5, followed by us in our 2.8, followed by a near identical 2.8 and lastly another Paris Dakar limited edition 2.5! Two of the Pajs overheated but were quickly fixed after letting them cool off. The lanes were a good mix of ascents and descents with beautiful scenery. Some lanes made me wonder how a motor vehicle could go up and down them! But all Pajs did, and presumably took their happy owners home afterwards, many looking forward to the working week as daily drivers!

Hi
Looks like the shineys had fun off roading, I went out with the "Muddy" group and tried some of the more severe lanes, when the fog cleared it was a nice day and the lanes lived up to their name, the worst was a downhill total washout section with ruts that were deeper than even the lifted trucks were... we all slid and scraped down them but it took some doing.....
Unfortunatly after a small dash fire we ended up with virtually no electrics so I couldn't even charge my mobile and thought I better keep the battery in case I needed the phone later, so pictures were few....
We finally got to Pindale and met Richie and lined up for a Pic...
I had a great day, it was nce to meet some more of you and thanks to Denis for leading us...
Hopefuly someone will put up some pics of our group... |
