i have just got my insurance renewal from aon in the letter they say this

track days - given the number of tarck events taking place and the increase in high claims cost, the majorty of insurers have now withdrawn from granting any cover. we are happy to confirm that royal and sunalliance are still willing to offer cover to most of our clients but you will need to contact us before each event an additional premium will be charged and special terms applied.

so if you do track days and can not get cover aon may be the way, my renewal was up £12 to £250.49 this year so not to bad
