Has anyone got/seen any Quick release Anti Roll Bar setup on a truck?
These setups only look good for your rear axle.... What can be done at the front?? lol not much, its ifs after all
Can you do some sort of... (If I spell it right) Sailsbry Axle?? You know so you drop the drive down 6" at the end of your axle. Can you do that in the front??
I know questions, questions, and more questions..... LOL |
ur gonna have to post a link to these sailsbry axles, actually thinking about it, i think ur talking about unimog diffs or portal diffs. as its been stated the front is ifs so portal diffs wont work unless u do a solid axle swap on the front end |

I suppose this could be seen as a reasonable bunch of modifications:
- 2" higher (and also softer) rear springs
- replacement softer front torsion bars
- extra length dampers
- complete removal of ARBs front and rear
Yes I know removing the anti roll bars is going to affect on-road handling, the question is, how much by? I notice you can buy the springs and dampers as a kit for around £350 or so. I think this would be as good as it gets, before serious mods like a solid front axle (which would need a cut/shut of the chassis from another vehicle, probably). |

rear one removed is fine imo, takes a few days to adjust driving style but nothing too dramatic, the front however i would leave in and if you felt inclined to do so, remove it off road |

Get some disconnects for the front and rear sway bars. They replace the links that connect in between the sway bar and the live axle or a -arms in the front.
You can download the rancho catalogue and find shocks with the setup to fit your truck that have a longer length. RS9000's are nice and remotely adjustable too. |

Rancho's are an over priced entry level shock. High in cost, low in quality. |

Do you have any info on suppliers for anti-roll bar (sway bar) disconnects? I don't think I've come across any, for the Pajero. I've seen them for other motors, though. |

So I found the answer to my own question, y60 coil springs off of a Nissan patrol 4.2. Gives 3.5" extra lift, I would post the link to the post on this forum but I don't have the authority so if you just search "Nissan patrol y60 coil springs" you will find it 👌🏻. |
