OK here goes any ideas? I have had an on going problem with the flashing lights, four wheel drive works as it should apart from the flashing lights in two wheel drive, replaced the vacuum solenoids and everything working as it should, however have had to replace the vacuum solenoids three times in the last year! that can't be right? what could be causing the solenoids to fail so quickly |

That is very strange. Have you bench-tested the solenoids you removed? Stripped them down (if possible) to see how they are failing?
Where are you buying your replacements from? If not genuine, are they the correct voltage? |

have you checked the actuator on the front diff to make sure it,s not sticking...as well as the vacuum pipes for tiny holes or splits |

Yes I have checked actuator and pipes its the solenoids for certain, fit new solenoid works perfect for a few weeks then fails, shifting in and out of four wheel drive fine its just this blasted flashing light which gets on my nerves especially when driving at night. |

I'm wondering if the accumulator has got a leak, and the system is losing vacuum. This might cause the solenoids to be energised permanently (but I am guessing here), and therefore fail prematurely. |

I suppose that is possible, have checked and it seems OK no obvious holes or rust, how can I check it other than by observation. |
