My mate has an L200 with a 4D56 2.5 deisel engine....he was asking about cambelt change intervals....its done about 50k miles now....what is the reccomended interval and how big a job is it?

The interval for them is 54,000 miles or 6 years, which ever comes first.
Easy job if you are handy with the spanners, about a 2 hour job.....
And there is 2 belts - timing belt and a balance belt...

Did mine today with a mate, made it easier as it has the same engine as my old Pajero. All belts and tensioners changed, fuel, oil, air filter, rocker gasket, new coolant and of course some nice new engine oil. roll on next weekend, diff oils will be done then too Wink
