Hii all,
I'm going to have a look at my calipers today, front near side is sticking. I burned my finger on it yesterday, note to ones self, never put you finger where you cant see !,

Anyway, I know the back two are ok so I'll just change the pads,
Can anyone say for definite do I need to clamp the brake pipe and open bleeder to get the piston back in, Lot of chat on here about abs problems if you dont do it. Its a pain cause I'll have to bleed the system and I'mm on my own.

One other quick thing, code 41 and engine management light every few days, sounds like its going on 3 cylinders, I'll fix brakes first and get to this next. Anyone got any thoughts on this fault.

Thanks.

p.s. Make and model in signature.

I dont clamp it and never had any problems, a long as you take your time pushing it back it will be ok. No harm in clamping it either. Whichever way takes your fancy. Its all good Laughing

Thanks for that, I have never done it before on any car I have done brake's on so I probably won't bother clamping it.
If it all goes t*ts up I know for sure then!!!

Open the bleed nipple when pushing the piston back to be safe. Then bleed when done.

My front pistons don't look great so I will have to clamp the pipe to get those sorted. Thanks,
Anyone any info on code 41, happening every day now.
