Maybe I take it back.. 2gether emailed me to quote £305, which is quite a drop from £2700
Does make me wonder what they'd be like in a claim if their website quotes a price ten times higher than their email.. Something not quite right there! |

I was with 2gether 2 years - 1st year fine 2nd year put me on a limited mileage policy that I didn't ask for + never even told me ! I found out when I got my policy docs in the post. whilst I used my pajero only occasionally + it wasn't my main vehicle I resent the fact that some insurance firm dictates when + how much I use my car ! then my circumstances changed and I found with the high cost of insurance + tax + fuel hard to justify on a car I rarely used any more so made the difficult decision to sell the car. when I cancelled the policy I got less than £10 back ! ! admin costs etc swallowed the rest -BEWARE any of you -learn at my expense !
when I cancelled I had over 6 months left on a policy which had cost me around £400 and i'd paid in full for !
furthermore I'd asked for proof of no claims when this arrived( with my cheque for 9.95 ) it says on the form i'd had a claim in 2010 which i HAVEN'T ! I've asked them to give me some more details on this claim which I never had and heard nothing since ! seems customer service doesn't exist when you're not a customer any more

I have just cancelled mine in November and have only been with them a few months and was told I will get a £50 refund and have since had a nasty letter from creation finance saying I owe £65 and that they are adding late fees etc . I am still waiting on the refund and I have been in contact with Dave and as over the Xmas it maybe delayed so will see and keep you posted.
They did give me a good deal in the first place and Dave bewer the broker I used was very helpful. |

Pajero Insurance Nightmare:
I went onto the Pajero Owners site and caller 2gether who have the quote
"2Gether Insurance - Superb service - beat the rest!!"
They first quoted over £500 third party with only me allowed to drive as I wanted my wife to be a named driver but after a few mins the woman came back with £440 and told me that was the lowest I would get anywhere but my wife could not be added as she had only held a full UK license for 7 years and not 10.
Of course we've heard it all before but she said that they were not making any commission on this quote and it was only because I was a member of the Paj Owners Club that they could do this special rate.
I trusted the relationship between them and the Paj owners club to give me the best "HARD TO BEAT" deal so went ahead.
Days later after mentioning the price with a shocked 4x4 mate I was reminded about Adrian Flux insurance so I called them and sure enough straight away they quoted me £300 for third party fire and theft which also included my wife on the policy and green laning, European cover and able to drive other cars!
When I returned to cancel with 2gether (being well within my 14 day cancellation period) they told me that I would have to pay a £92 cancellation fee. When I questioned as to why it was so extortionate she had no definitive answer apart from its in your terms and conditions (which I had not seen) and its to make up for our lost commission (which was not charged according to the broker) The woman I spoke to was called Katrina.
I had no choice but to pay the £92 and took out the Flux quote straight away.
Facts about 2gether:
They are at the TOP of the Paj Owners Club with banner stating “Hard to beat”
They said I would not get a better rate and that they were charging ZERO commission
They said it was not possible to put my wife on the policy
Their quote was a staggering £140 more than my quote from Adrian Flux which includes my wife and green laning cover. (hardly hard to beat!)
They charged me £92 to cancel within my 14 day cooling off period.
There was no good will gesture or compensation in any way whatsoever. Either in bettering the existing quote or refunding it.
Their “hard to beat” price was beaten by £140 when I called Flux (£10 or £20 quid is acceptable but £140!!!???)
Their customer service is appalling and they were by no means hard to beat so why are they are at the top of the Paj Owners club???
Please enlighten! |

Indeed... don't trust a word they say. Flux had my business in the end but 2gether still charged me an extortionate cancellation fee and were by no way hard to beat like they claim. I wish I had called FLUX FIRST as they took £140 off the quote with better benefits!!! |

It would appear they don't like being told you can get a cheaper/better quote elsewhere.
My renewal this year TPFT £358 with 2gether
As usual I spend a week or so shopping around and managed to get a quote of £359 FC and £316 TPFT.
I called 2gether to let them know as they added a sticker to their renewal notice stating they'd beat any genuine quote.
When I reminded the chap of this he got all arsey and claimed Zenith 'don't do imports'. He went on a mini rant about checking the conditions, speaking to Zenith directly etc etc. It wasn't a pleasant phone call.
Goodbye 2gether, thats the last of my money you'll ever see. |

I've tried this company 2gether many times but they have never come anywhere near the quote I get from Adrian Flux so I would also question why they are getting top position on the forum. My advice to anyone looking for a good quote is to look around and take what 2gether say with a large pinch of salt because it could cost you in the end. |

Dave Brewer Originally of Bradgate Insurance ... I'm surprised to hear he's still allowed to broker insurance! To say he 'ripped me (the POCUK) off' is putting it lightly - he still owes something like 9 months of commissions on a deal with the POCUK, (back in the early days of the club), that he claims was never made.

From what I understand, 2Gether aren't 'specialising' in import 4x4s anymore but I'm assured they can still provide great insurance for UK model vehicles!
So ... any of you who have moved on from your Pajero or have a UK model second car - give them a go and see what they can do ... I'll be pleased to hear back on how they do.

Hi all, not posted for ages but been looking at forums !
I am puzzled why members are having trouble with this broker .
I have just renewed with them and it is cheaper than last year ,still with Highway , and with business use , protected ncb plus legal protection etc .
This has cost me just over £300.00 fully comp, perhaps it is because of where I live , rural Kent ? Any thoughts ?

2Gether have been working on this, taking into account the feedback from their Club affiliates.
It's an unfortunate fact that people with a positive experience very rarely feel the need to provide feedback, where those with a less than positive experience feel the need a LOT more strongly!
Part of the revamp includes new links and an extra discount for Club members!
You can contact them for a quote on our dedicated land-line : 01945 585322
by email : enquiries@2gi.co.uk
or alternatively submit an online quotation request by clicking HERE <-- Click to link
There's also now an additional 15% OFF discount code that you can use in addition to the already great Club Deal:
Just add it where requested
Let us know how you get on!
