Just replaced my leaking fuel lines under the motor, a fair bit of diesel came out while doing the job.

Does anyone know if it’s ok to turn the ignition on and let the pump sort out the loss or is there a priming procedure?

Thanks

2000 DId 3.2 diesel

There is a priming procedure, on the fuel filter there is a bleed nipple losen that, then prime with the black primer on top until fuel comes out (dont forget to do it back up after wards). Thats how i do it not sure if thats the correct procedure but it's what I do after a filter change.
